The alt-country/Americana sound has a way of putting all our “fall feels” to tear-jerking, toe-tapping grooves. Few in Columbia play the style better than The Runout. Formed by local music scene sensations Jeff Gregory, Chris Compton, Mike Scarboro, Moses Andrews, and Kelley Gregory, this fearsome fivesome lays down mournful melodies and haunting harmonies while also exploring themes that show off the cozier side of the season like love, friendship, and slowing down to appreciate the scenery around you.Catch The Runout performing live at the Mast Store, 1601 Main Street, for this month’s First Thursday, 6 – 7:30 p.m., November 5.
