Before the Historic Area was restored, before the visitors came, before Colonial Williamsburg became what it is today, it was a regular, sleepy town and the people who called it home, watched it transform around them. Live from Williamsburg: A Restoration Radio Play imagines three radio broadcasts from the landmark years of 1928, 1937, and 1946 as Williamsburg shifts from small town to national destination told the way it was often told at the time. Live, over the air, to anyone who was listening. Part play, part variety show, part history, it features period music, live sound effects and the particular electricity of a microphone in a room full of people who know they’re witnessing something special.Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth.
Located in the Hennage Auditorium.
