About this Event
In this session, you’ll explore the process of carving, inking, and printing your own unique artwork.
You’ll begin by learning the fundamentals of lino printing - from safely carving your design to achieving rich, even prints. You will be contacted ahead of time with a selection of designs that you can choose from to be predrawn on your lino plate, while those feeling adventurous can bring and sketch and their own ideas.
The carving stage is slow, relaxing, and almost meditative, while the inking and printing process brings energy and excitement as your image comes to life on paper. By the end of the class, you’ll take home up to 4 cards with envelopes with your printed design - perfect to be postedd to your loved ones!
New to lino printing?
This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike. Whether you come on your own or bring a friend, you’ll enjoy a fun, inspiring morning of creativity and connection.
All materials will be provided. Please bring your own apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little inky!
