What Happens If Nobody Turns Up?Turning organisational challenges into a regional opportunity for volunteering in West WalesEvery organisation faces volunteering challenges. Recruitment. Retention. Capacity. Recognition. But what if we've been looking at these challenges through the wrong lens?Volunteering is not just an organisational issue. It's a regional asset. It connects communities, powers sport, strengthens wellbeing and creates opportunities across West Wales. Yet too often, we tackle volunteering in isolation, searching for organisation specific solutions to what are increasingly shared, system-wide challenges.Join Sported's National Development Officer, Oliver West, for a highly interactive, collaborative and thought-provoking Link Up Lounge workshop exploring how we can move from isolated challenges to collective action. This isn't a presentation. It's a conversation.Your experience, insight and perspective are critical if we're serious about creating a more connected, coordinated and impactful volunteering landscape across West Wales. Whether you're supporting volunteers directly, developing policy, delivering services or leading change within your organisation, we need your voice in the room.Drawing on the Wales Strategic Volunteering Project, we'll share learning, challenge assumptions and explore practical ways to modernise, prioritise and amplify volunteering through a systems-led approach. Together, we'll identify what matters most for our region and how we can turn individual organisational pressures into a collective opportunity for West Wales.Because volunteering isn't your responsibility. It's not my responsibility. It's our responsibility. If we're going to build the future of volunteering in West Wales, it won't happen without the people who know the system best helping to shape it.What role will you play in supercharging volunteering across West Wales?
