Hidden away in the peaceful Welsh countryside, our aerial soundbath at Golden Grove Retreat Centre is designed to help the body slow down, soften and fully switch out of the noise of everyday life.Suspended gently in an aerial hammock, you are cocooned above the ground while layers of gong, overtone voice, drum, chimes and immersive sound move around the space. The feeling is somewhere between floating, resting and being held. Many people say it is one of the deepest states of relaxation they have experienced.
The hammocks allow the body to completely let go in a way that is often difficult on the floor or in a chair. Combined with the natural acoustics of the space, the soft lighting and the surrounding stillness of the countryside, the experience becomes deeply calming and immersive from the moment you settle in.
These sessions are not about performance or “trying to meditate properly”. They are about creating space for the nervous system to breathe. Space to pause. Space to simply exist without pressure for a while.
Throughout the evening, you will be guided through a carefully layered sound journey using symphonic gongs, shamanic drumming, voice, atmospheric instruments and periods of silence woven together to create a deeply restorative experience.
As darkness settles over the surrounding woodland and countryside, the venue takes on an almost dreamlike atmosphere that perfectly complements the sound journey. It feels quiet, grounded and completely removed from the pace of modern life.
No experience is needed and beginners are always welcome.

• Spaces are very limited due to hammock capacity
• Wear warm comfortable clothing
• The venue is in a rural location with very little lighting, so please take care when arriving during darker evenings
