The lead guitarist and vocalist of The Stews steps out front on his own for a night live in Limbo, bringing fresh solo material to the stage. Fans who caught his new songs live this fall at Vinyl know what’s coming: big hooks, raw guitar work, and the kind of honest songwriting that sticks with you long after the last chord rings out. This time, you’ll hear it all in a room built for it.The new songs were recorded right here in Charleston with a crew of local players, and you’ll hear that hometown fingerprint all over them.
Since December is the season of giving and showing up for one another this show will do exactly that. A portion of all merch proceeds from the night will be donated to local soup kitchens this holiday season. Pick up a shirt, grab a record, and know your purchase is helping put a warm meal on a neighbor’s table.
Opening the night: Winterteeth Charleston’s raw indie and post-punk newcomers behind “Favors” and the new single “Cracks.” Loud, unpredictable, and worth showing up early for.
