About this Event
Based on Kate Grenville’s Australian/Vogel award winning novel and inspired by a true story, Lilian's Story brings to life the extraordinary journey of a legendary Sydney bohemian whose life inspired the acclaimed film.
Domaradzki will review and discuss the film’s themes, production and its representation of Lilian and the woman who inspired the character. Starring the acclaimed Ruth Cracknell and featuring a young Toni Collette, the film offers a compelling portrait of a woman who refused to conform and became one of Sydney’s most unforgettable characters.
