AIF is dedicated to gender equity and poverty alleviation through the multi-pronged approach of addressing education, livelihoods, public health, climate change mitigation, and leadership development. We design bold solutions to complex problems for communities that need it the most. Working with stakeholders from the government and civil society, we drive change that is sustainable and scalable.
Driven by values of transparency, secularism, and nonpartisanship, we have positively affected over 18.88 million people across 35 states and union territories in India.
Our programs are designed to address and support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals that nations have pledged to reach by 2030.
AIF's Young Professionals (YPs) represent the next generation of globally minded and social-impact driven leaders. It is the driven, capable, and compassionate young minds like these that our society is counting on to help create a more inclusive, equitable, and hopeful world. These cross-cultural leaders of tomorrow are crucial in bridging the civil societies of the two largest democracies–India and the US–for decades to come. Our YPs are active in their communities through a range of events and are focused on bolstering AIF's mission, impact, and community.
