Join us at Abbey House for this creative life drawing workshop led by artist and teacher Lucy Litchfield.Open to all abilities, from beginners to experienced drawers, each workshop is an excellent opportunity to create work for a portfolio, artwork for the wall, or simply to get creative, build confidence and socialise in a supportive environment.
Drawing from an experienced nude model, Lucy will guide and encourage you to experiment with different materials and mark making to capture the dynamic human form. Through these workshops you will explore experimental approaches to drawing, develop observational skills, let go of expectation and perfectionism and have fun.
In this morning workshop on Saturday 7th November, you'll use a variety of natural forms available in the current season - such as sticks, stones, fresh herbs and berries - to explore the organic, diverse mark making possibilities to capture the dynamic human form.
Learn to let go of expectation and fear and create beautiful gestural drawings using nature's best drawing tools!
When: 9:30am-12:30pm

About the Artist
Lucy was born and bred in Somerset and teaches life drawing independently and through the local community college, Strode, as well as leading other creative workshops for all ages around central Somerset.
