Life Drawing in Bristol

This relaxed life drawing class takes place in Stokes Croft, Bristol on a weekly basis. We have a different live model each week who will take a variation of poses for you to draw. You can focus on whatever you like, bring whatever drawing materials you like and won't be given any rules or instructions (although we can provide guidance if you're stuck).

• The class is at Hamilton House, Stokes Croft, Bristol. You will be able to access the building via the main doors from 6:15pm, and class starts at 6:30pm.
• ALL abilities welcome. The class is not tutored, but if you'd like some help or guidance, just ask.
• The model will usually perform a range of different poses from 5 minutes to 30 minutes in length, although some sessions may differ, and some have themes.
• We have paper, pencils, charcoal, erasers and sharpeners which are free to use. We strongly encourage you to bring along any other materials you'd like. We also have drawing boards and a few easels.
• The event is ticket only - you can only buy them here!

30th Oct - HALLOWEEN - we try and pull out all the stops for Halloween, so Callie will be attending with all manner of props, fake blood, and scary poses!

5th Nov - Model-led Poses - please note this session is on Wednesday

13th Nov - Drapery - model Charlo will join us with all manner of gauzy fabrics to pose with

20th Nov - Tarot - Lara will be exploring the characters and poses found in the tarot for this mystical session

27th Nov - Clowing Around - veteran model Callie and host Beth will be modelling together as clowns!

If a class sells out, you also now have the option of joining in our waitlist in the case of cancellations. If you join the waitlist and someone cancels, you will be contacted. If you're not contacted, sadly we don't have any space for you.

In case of any no-shows, you are welcome to try on-the-door. We can take cash or provide a QR code for payment, but we cant guarantee we'll definitely have a space for you and you may get turned away!
