About this Event
Life Below the Surface Art Exhibit
“Life Below the Surface” is a multimedia art exhibit by Black in Marine Science (BIMS), a 501c3 nonprofit that aims to inspire the next generation of scientific thought leaders, amplify our voices, and spread environmental awareness.
The exhibit will feature photography submitted by BIMS members that explores our relationships with water, climate, and joy, offering viewers a way to rethink who is seen as a “marine scientist” and who is centered in conversations about our coasts and climate.
