About this Event
This event will showcase a co-created photovoice exhibition developed in collaboration with people with lived experience of the UK asylum system. Through photography and personal narratives, the exhibition explores life after being granted asylum, including themes of identity, wellbeing, barriers and marginalisation, survival and rebuilding. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with lived experiences and reflect on the challenges and opportunities of life after asylum.
The event schedule is as follows:
4pm - Arrival.
4.30 - Jo introduces the project.
4.40 - Story sharing and participant experiences of the project.
5.00 - formal opening of the exhibition.
5.15 - Entertainment and food and free to look at the exhibition.
6.00 - Close.
