About this Event
Liberty Station Comedy Night brings club-level heat to Moniker General—no patio, just a crisp room built for laughs. Expect a tight, fast show with the best comics you’d pay to see in big clubs (without the two over-priced drink minimums). Moniker General’s got a full bar with reasonable prices, great sightlines, and the kind of energy that makes punchlines explode.
Slap Diego does comedy differently: we hand-pick killers, keep the show moving, and cut the filler. It’s a club-quality lineup without the club hassle—no gougy drink rules, no endless open-mic vibes—just pro comics, sharp production, and a crowd that’s there to laugh. If you love stand-up, this is the one you bring your friends to.
Liberty Station Comedy Night is kicking off October with RUI MONTILLA! A Hollywood Improv performer and finalist in San Diego’s Funniest Person Contest, Rui has brought his comedy to the Burbank, DC, and Oak City Comedy Festivals. With infectious energy, killer storytelling, and hilarious takes on marriage, family, and the chaos of adulthood, he makes you feel like you’re hanging with your funniest friend.
Catch Rui headlining Moniker General on Thursday, October 1 at 7 PM, alongside a stacked lineup featuring Jacob Johnstone, Shane Chase, Elwin Warsh, and host Lena Stone!
Big laughs. Free admission. Your Thursday plans are handled. Grab your crew, reserve your free tickets, and come kick off October loud!
