About this Event
As part of the Sister Cities Dialogue project, join us for an evening of conversation and connection about the gaming scene and industry in Birmingham and Frankfurt.
Whether you are a game developer, student of games art, or industry professional, come along to share insights, discuss current trends, and exchange ideas with peers in our partner city.
Part of the evening will be a showcase featuring selected Frankfurt-based game development teams. These teams will briefly present their projects, offering a first look at what they are building, seeking feedback and co-creation opportunities, and building meaningful connections with Birmingham's games industry.
The Sister Cities Dialogue project marks 60 years of partnership between Frankfurt and Birmingham, creating a space to meet, listen, exchange, and discover what connects us despite our different everyday realities. The goal is to strengthen the partnership between our cities, recognizing that international relations become tangible when people talk to one another.
This event takes place in a Portal, a repurposed shipping container equipped with audio-visual technology. When you step inside, you will come face-to-face directly with people in Frankfurt as if you are in the same room.
