Let’s Talk About It: A Community Conversation + Board ElectionsA lot of us are carrying something we don’t talk about. Maybe it’s worry about our safety, our rights, our families, our jobs, or our businesses. Maybe it’s just a constant hum of stress about what’s happening in Tennessee and what comes next. We’ve gotten used to keeping that to ourselves. This month, we’re going to say it out loud, together.
Join the MidSouth LGBT Chamber for an honest, open conversation about the fears and pressures our community is feeling right now. That includes LGBTQ+ neighbors, families, business owners, and the allies who stand with us. Chris Crawford will open by sharing his own story. Then the floor is yours to share, listen, and talk about how we look out for one another and build a stronger, more connected Memphis.
Everyone belongs in this room. Come if you’re feeling it, if you want to support someone who is, or if you’re an ally who wants to help. If you run a business, you’ll also find out how many of your customers, clients, and partners are already part of this community, and how much stronger we are when we show up for each other.
After the conversation, we’ll hold Board Elections to choose the leaders who will guide the Chamber into the next year. Members, please plan to stay and vote. Only current members can vote. Not sure if yours is current? Email [email protected].
