Join us for a second Let's Draw Davis in October! This time, we will spend the afternoon drawing the magnificent oak trees in the Peter J Shields Oak Grove, at the western end of the UC Davis Arboretum. This year the Arboretum celebrates its 90th anniversary! We'll meet at 2pm at the Carolee Shields Gazebo, sketch around the oak trees, and meet up again at 4pm to look at each others sketchbooks. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the Arboretum, with oaks from all over the world.
The Shields Oak Grove and the Gazebo can be found on Garrod Drive. Here is the location on the Campus Map: http://campusmap.ucdavis.edu/?l=83

As always this is a free event open to anyone who likes to sketch (especially if you like drawing trees). All you need is something to draw with and something to draw on!
I hope to see you there! - Pete
