Join Us for Lesson NightTuesday at 6:30 PM!
We are starting Step 5: We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. Confessing sin is like updating your software - put it off and things stop working right.
"He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy". (Proverbs 28:13)
In other words, we can't heal what we don't reveal!
Principle 4: Openly examine and confess my hurts, hang-ups and habits to myself, to God and to someone I trust.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8)
Step 5: We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being, the exact nature of our hurts, hang-up and habits.
“Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” (James 5:16)
