Our speaker
Chris is an openly lesbian leader in football and business, with much of her work focused on how power, culture and everyday systems shape people’s experience in male-dominated environments. She brings over 25 years of experience leading organisations through cultural change, operational excellence, and inclusive leadership. As a lifelong Spurs fan, committed anti‑discrimination activist, and co‑founder of several major supporter‑led LGBTQ+ initiatives, Chris has been instrumental in challenging inequality and transforming football culture nationwide.
Chris is Vice-Chair and Trustee of Kick It Out, football's anti-discrimination and inclusion charity, and Co-Chair and Co-Founder of Proud Lilywhites, the official Tottenham Hotspur LGBTQIA+ Supporters' Association. She has worked with the likes of The Premier League, The Football Association (FA), numerous universities and charities, UN Women UK, talkSPORT, The Guardian... to name a few!
What to expect
Our event will kick off (pun intended) with breakfast and an opportunity to network with fellow attendees. Followed by the keynote session hosted by Dr Chris, where she will share her personal journey, insights from her work across the private, public and charity sectors, and her passion for building spaces where all can lead with clarity, integrity, and pride.
