Trudy draws on her Yidinji, South Sea Islander, Jamaican and Irish heritage, weaving haunting vocals and vibrant rhythms into stories reaching from the canefields of North Queensland to the shores of Jamaica.

Les Thomas
Les Thomas is a Naarm/Melbourne singer-songwriter whose country-folk songs combine vivid storytelling, a warm baritone and a strong social conscience. His acclaimed third album, I Remember Everything, has earned five stars from the UK’s Morning Star and four stars from Rhythms and Americana UK. Following a successful UK tour, Les brings an intimate acoustic performance grounded in lived experience, compassion and hope. He received the Troubadour Foundation’s “Keeping the Flame Alive” award in 2025.
Trudy Fatnowna Edgeley
Based on Wadawurrung Country, Trudy Fatnowna Edgeley draws on her Yidinji, South Sea Islander, Jamaican and Irish heritage to share stories through music, art and theatre. Her haunting vocals, distinctive melodies and tropical rhythms carry histories from the canefields of North Queensland to the shores of Jamaica. She has toured Australia, the UK and USA as part of Phil and Trudy Edgeley, and supported Neil Murray, Liz Stringer and Stiff Gins. Her solo album, I Am Here, explores heritage, healing and harmony.
