About this Event
Comedy is all about timing, so where better to put on a show than where timing is everything – in post-production! We're bringing the laughs to Whitehouse Post and their friends at Carbon in Culver City.
The Lineup
- Aparna Nancherla: Headlining the comedy! You’ve seen her on Netflix’s The Standups, heard her as Hollyhock on BoJack Horseman, and maybe read her book, Unreliable Narrator: Me, Myself, and Impostor Syndrome
- Soren Iverson: Tech satirist whose viral, unhinged redesigns of popular apps and digital interfaces led to a published book, a design agency, and features in Wired and Gizmodo.
- Aaron Ruell: Known to millions as Kip from Napoleon Dynamite, Aaron will share directing work and talk through the transition from cult performer to commercial director at Tool of North America.
You might be wondering how a lineup like this is even possible. Honestly, it wouldn’t be without the incredible support of Tool of North America, Singing Serpent Music, White House Post and Carbon. And comedy lovers like you.
Food & Drinks
Dinner is served courtesy of The Taco Man (like the Muffin Man, but tastier). We will also have adult and childish beverages. You will not go hungry or sober – unless that's your goal.
Come for the laughs, leave inspired to create better work – even if nobody gave you the brief.
