About this Event
Join us for a community conversation with the Climate Justice Team at Urban Core Collective about electricity affordability, reliability, climate impacts, and the future of energy in our communities.
The Climate Justice Team will share information about Consumers Energy’s upcoming 20-year energy plan and how community members can have a voice in the process. Together, we’ll talk about what our communities need from our electricity system and explore questions like: What should Consumers Energy prioritize? What concerns do we have about the future of our electricity system? What would a fair and affordable energy system look like in our communities?
This conversation is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and make sure community voices and experiences are part of conversations about Michigan’s energy future. You deserve a say in decisions that impact your community.
Lunch will be provided.
