About this Event
We are fundraising to keep our space and our classes & memberships affordable! Consider paying it forward.
Learn the basics of using a Glowforge laser cutter and a kamsnap tool! Become comfortable with the laser cutter so that your first project will be a breeze! You'll learn to use the Glowforge web app to etch and cut leather and how to load the machine with materials to feel confident tackling any laser cutting project after. This class will be taught by Lauren Harriman. She has over 10 years of laser cutting knowledge.
Note: the cord keeper pictured was made with metal snaps and green leather. We will be using brown leather and likely plastic snaps.
There will be no refunds if canceled as it takes away a seat and materials of others. This is a fundraiser, so the money will go back to funding affordable art studios for women and non-binary people.
Please review our values under our Base Assumptions (link) before coming to keep a safe place for everyone.

The group is considering its future so this event is to give folx an opportunity to share our present and explore our past.
