Syesha placed third on season seven of American Idol and grew up right here — Bradenton, Sarasota, and Booker High School's Visual and Performing Arts program — before starring as Deena Jones in the national tour of Dreamgirls. This is a hometown artist with a national stage behind her, taking on the catalog she was built to sing.
