Lache Cercel-violin, Don Ogilvie-guitar, Sam Shoichet-bassThe Roma Swing Trio has been delighting audiences around North America, Europe and Asia for the past 24 years with their unique fusion of Eastern European folk music and Canadian jazz. Maestro Lache Cercel, the virtuosic violinist hailing from Bucharest Romania, melodically soars over top to Don Ogilvie's solid jazz guitar comping while Sam Shoichet holds down the low end with his bombastic, thunderous upright bass. The joyful interplay within this trio of seasoned players as they travel the world through music is always exciting and not to be missed.
