L. Jacobs (be) makes experimental yet melodic electronic music under the moniker L. Jacobs. His debut album, Enthusiasm, was released in 2021 via Les Albums Claus x W.E.R.F. Records. His new album, Behind The Great Curve, produced by Milan W., was released in April 2026 on the Belgian blickwinkel label. Alongside his solo work, Jacobs is a member of the idiosyncratic band The Germans, the experimental jazz group MDC III, and the improvisation collective cUNST, and has previously played with Public
Psyche, Vermin Twins, and Hong Kong Dong, among others.

Abner B (be) is the electronic music project of Jef De Smet, a DJ and producer based in Mechelen. His sound ranges from ambient and experimental electronics to techno, with a strong focus on live improvisation and audio-visual performances. Among his releases is the live improvisation series Abner B's Sonic Travels.

"This work uses fragments of daily life recorded together with a female client at the welfare facility where the artist works, and
consists entirely of the process of layering sound onto those recordings. The recordings were done in a single take, just as she
does.
I regard her everyday activities — and the phenomena released as sound — as the most essential foundation of this work. How
does uncertainty enrich us? I wanted to weave the preciousness of the everyday into this piece.
Daily life repeats slowly, like the waves of the Seto Inland Sea. Her few minutes of recording are played back again and again
throughout the work.
Her sound is unprocessed — it flows straight into me, untouched; it is a sound that is her, herself. I feel I was also able to
capture, within the work, a sensation of scenes shifting fragmentarily, one after another.
And this is also a record of how I engaged with the clients of the facility, including her.
It is a continuous drone directed at a world that keeps drawing lines everywhere, trying to create division.
Voices of Taiwanese Indigenous peoples were also used as samples."
a.t.c.n has been a facilitator in Roxane Métayer's residencies in Japan.
