Swamp City Roller Derby is back with our annual fundraiser for breast cancer research - and this year we're bringing you THREE kēmu | games of Reti Rapa | Roller Derby!
Join us for the first two games of the day as developing skaters and A/B-level skaters take to the track, all while helping us raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
Doors open 12.30pm
HALF TIT - 1pm
Our development-level game, giving newer and developing skaters a chance to hit the track, test their skills and show us what they've got!
FULL TIT - 3pm
Things step up a gear for our A/B-level skaters in the second game of the day.
Entry by koha | donation - give what you can at the door, with all proceeds going towards breast cancer research through the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

Why The Next Breast Thing?
Our breast cancer fundraiser began in 2017 when our own maDD honour, Jody Hare, was undergoing breast cancer treatment. Now a proud survivor, Jody and her Swamp City whānau continue to inspire us to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
Come along, cheer on the skaters, wear your māwhero/pink and support a cause that affects so many people in our communities.
Then stick around… Because at 5pm, things get a whole lot more interesting.
🩷 PARTY TIT - 5pm
Our main event featuring a regular roller derby game with a very important difference: YOU get to influence what happens on the track!
Donate to spin the Wheel of Fun Jams and help decide which extra rules and challenges the skaters, and potentially our officials, have to deal with.
What could possibly go wrong? - You'll have to come along to find out.
Bring your mates. Bring the whānau. Bring your cash. Wear pink. Cheer loudly.
