About this Event
One of the most healthful Asian cuisines, delicious Korean cuisine features mainly vegetables and harmonized sauces. In this class, you will learn to make delicious chicken bibimbap, a rice bowl with chicken, seasoned spinach, cucumber salad, kimchi, egg, and delicious kimbap sauce. We’ll also make Korean Japchae, sweet potato noodles stir-fried with vegetables. We’ll finish the class with delicious poached pears with ginger.

About Ploy's Kitchen:
Ploy Khunisorn is a native of Thailand with a passion for culinary education, global cuisine, and food culture. She began her culinary journey at Suan Dusit International Culinary School while working as a financial analyst in Bangkok. After moving to the United States, she earned a Master of Liberal Arts in Sustainability from Harvard University, a Master of Education from Cambridge College, and a Master of Arts in Gastronomy from Boston University.
Ploy has been teaching cooking and baking since 2014 and, over more than 12 years of teaching experience, has taught more than 15,000 students. Her extensive travels to more than 60 countries have shaped her culinary perspective and deepened her knowledge of cuisines and food traditions from around the world.
Her additional culinary training includes a Certificate in Plant-Based Patisserie from Le Cordon Bleu, and she is also a certified Tea Master. Through her teaching, Ploy brings together culinary technique, cultural knowledge, and global experience to help students explore food as both a craft and a reflection of culture.
This class is BYOB - feel free to bring your favorite beer or bottle of wine, especially if it would pair well with dessert.
