About this Event
We are lucky to have an incredible community of designers, architects, engineers, builders, and manufacturers here in the West Kootenays, yet we don't always get the opportunity to connect, share ideas, or learn from one another.
We're kicking things off with a casual evening of good conversation, drinks, and presentations from Spearhead and Kalesnikoff, who will share some of the major changes and developments happening in our small valley.
Our hope is to make this a recurring event, with a variety of topics for discussion and learning. Suggestions for future topics are always welcome.
What to expect:
- An opportunity to connect with professionals from across the local industry
- Drinks and informal networking
- Discussion and Q&A
- Presentations from Spearhead and Kalesnikoff
Who should attend?
Anyone working in or connected to the building environment in the West Kootenays (and beyond), from design and engineering to construction, manufacturing, and planning.
Space at the NIC is limited to 50 people, so please RSVP to reserve your spot.
Drinks for the meetup are generously sponsored by Juniper.
We're looking forward to bringing everyone together and seeing where this community can go!
AEC = Architecture, Engineering and Construction
This meet up is intended to be a positive, supportive space for learning, sharing ideas, and building connections across our local industry. We encourage thoughtful questions and constructive discussion related to architecture, engineering, construction, and the built environment.
As a small and interconnected community, we ask that everyone approach the evening with respect for one another, keeping discussions constructive and focused on the topics at hand.
