A few months ago, we made a kitchen-themed sample of our mini bookcase project, just for fun. But everyone who sees it asks when they can make one. So we decided it’s time!
Join us for a cozy afternoon building your own tiny kitchen shelf. If you’d like, make it Christmas- or Hanukkah-themed, but that’s totally optional. What’s not optional: Lots of tiny things, cozy vibes and plenty of whimsy!
What’s included:
- A 5-by-5-inch bookcase ready for you to customize and embellish.
- Miniature kitchen items like stand mixers, plates, cutting boards, jars, utensils, bowls, coffee mugs and food.
- Holiday embellishments including gingerbread houses, candy canes, menorahs, festive food, dreidels and more.
- Lots of tiny books! We’ll have mini versions of actual books — contemporary and classic — and some you can decorate yourself. And for this workshop, we’ll have the option to create tiny cookbooks and holiday books.
- A buffet of supplies so you can embellish your shelves; create items like potted plants or festive wreaths; or whatever else you can dream up to make your perfect space. We’ll also have many of our standard bookcase miniatures to give you lots of options.
- Plus, you’re welcome to bring any tiny trinkets or photos to add your own touches.
We can’t wait to show you all the goodies we’ve collected — let’s make tiny things together.
This workshop is open to crafters ages 7 and up, but kids under 11 should be accompanied by an adult.
