Where Shakespeare Meets Showbiz - Backstage rivalries, Shakespearean comedy, and Cole Porter’s sparkling music collide in one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals. As a theatre company prepares a production of The Taming of the Shrew, the offstage romance—and rivalry—between its leading actors proves every bit as dramatic as the play they’re performing. Filled with wit, glamour, and unforgettable songs like “Too Darn Hot” and “Brush Up Your Shakespeare,” Kiss Me, Kate is a celebration of theatre itself. Music and Lyrics by
Cole Porter
