Kiplin Hall Paranormal Investigation with Seven Wonders

As the gates close behind you and darkness settles over Kiplin Hall, you’ll be stepping into more than four centuries of history.
Built in the early 1620s as a hunting lodge for George Calvert, 1st Baron Baltimore, Kiplin has witnessed generations of family life, ambition, tragedy, change and survival. Four families called this place home — the Calverts, Crowes, Carpenters and Talbots — each leaving their own mark on the Hall.
Tonight, Seven Wonders Paranormal Investigations will attempt to find out whether some of those who once walked these corridors have ever truly left.
As the investigation begins, we’ll move through rooms that have remained remarkably connected to Kiplin’s past. The Long Gallery, stretching 70 feet across the Hall, will become a very different place after dark. The Gothic library, filled with centuries-old books and family history, may provide an atmosphere of its own. And then there are the servants’ tunnels — hidden routes once used by servants to move discreetly through the house.
We’ll investigate using a mixture of traditional paranormal techniques and modern investigation equipment, conducting spirit communication sessions, EVP experiments, environmental monitoring, trigger objects and vigils throughout the night.
And as the hours pass, we’ll dig deeper into Kiplin’s story.
The Calverts and their extraordinary connection to Maryland.
The Crowes and their Italian treasures.
The Carpenters and the transformation of the Hall.
The Talbots and, ultimately, Bridget Talbot, the woman who fought to save Kiplin from demolition when its future looked desperately uncertain. Kiplin was even used as an ammunition dump and officers’ quarters during the Second World War before Bridget helped secure its future.
Perhaps the most intriguing question of the night won’t be “Is there a ghost here?”
It will be:
“WHO IS STILL HERE?”
Because when the lights go out, the doors close and the Hall falls silent…
400 years of history are waiting in the darkness.
