A make-and-take workshop utilizing the smallest fabric scraps to make freeform miniature patchworks with no sewing needed.
About this Event

Taught by guest artist Eleanor Mulshine | OCT 24th, 2-4pm

Do you have small fabric scraps lying around just waiting to be used? Want to learn a craft that involves textiles and no sewing? Are you facinated by miniatures? If you love the spirit of improv quilting and answered yes to the above questions, you might like the art of Kinusaiga! Fellow queer quilter Eleanor Mulshine will teach this simple and meditative method that was originally created by Japanese artist Setsu Maeno. All supplies will be provided, however you are welcome to bring your own special fabric scraps to create with.

Interfacing studio is located in a second-story walk-up with no elevator. Masking is required and KN95 masks are provided if you forget yours. Please arrive on time or a little early to make the most of the evening.
