About this Event
Children will join our partners at Seattle ReCreative and learn to harness the power of creative reuse to make beautiful, inspirational, and artistic holiday ornaments from reused and reclaimed materials. They'll leave this workshop with wonderful ornaments great for display at home or as a nice gift.
All tools and materials are provided. Children (age 5+) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
About the instructor, : Staff from Seattle ReCreative, a local nonprofit that promotes creativity, community, and environmental stewardship through creative reuse and arts education.
All classes in Seattle REconomy's Shoreline Sustainable Skill Series are offered at a reduced rate. Funding for this series has been provided, in full or in part, by the City of Shoreline. If cost is a concern, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] to discuss options.
ACCESSIBILITY:
- The venue is wheelchair accessible and has an all-gender restroom. The restroom is ADA-compliant.
- Non-English and ASL interpreters are not provided at our classes and events. However, attendees are welcome to bring their own interpreters.

GETTING THERE:
- By transit: Served by King County Metro bus RapidRide E Line on Aurora Ave N and N 165th.
- By bike: The venue is located one block west of the Interurban Trail. Shoreline Light Rail stations are each about 2 miles away. A bicycle rack is available outside the building. If the tool library is not open and space is available, students are welcome to bring their bicycles inside the building.
- Car parking: There is an asphalt parking lot that fits up to 20 cars. There is one ADA van accessible parking space with an access aisle.
