About this Event
You are invited to the final event of the City of Shoreline’s ScanDesign Foundation grant-funded COurban Masterclass program. The program explored how to transform Shoreline’s separate land uses and automobile-oriented zoning into vibrant, inclusive, human-scaled, mixed-use, complete communities. It included a study trip to Copenhagen and surrounding Danish towns, along with pre- and post-trip educational activities and workshops in Shoreline and across the Pacific Northwest, led by COurban and Framework Cultural Placemaking.
At the Open House, the Shoreline cohort of elected officials, city staff, and community members will share lessons learned from the study tour, results from a local Community Charrette, and strategies for implementing livable, resilient, multimodal neighborhood models in Shoreline.
Open House attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the three focus areas (the Midvale Town Center corridor, Firlands Way and 185th St, and Light Rail Connections) and co-create the Shoreline Neighborhood Toolkit.
Registration is free. Please register using the Eventbrite link.
