About this Event
Nashville singer-songwriter Kevin Montgomery returns to Bristol's Hen and Chicken. Montgomery will be supported by 50's rockers, Rockin' and Flyin'. They are UK based trio featuring upright bass, acoustic, and electric.
Montgomery is scheduled to play The Surf Ballroom on Feb. 5th, 2027 as a part of the Winter Dance Party to honor his father, Bob Montgomery and Buddy Holly's musical partnership. This show will be the perfect warm-up and also the perfect pre-NYE mayhem avoidance situation!
Montgomery will be joined by longtime sidekick, Johnny Mackinnon and guitar and steel virtuoso Scott Poley of "Rumours" fame.
Montgomery’s mom sang with Elvis and Dad wrote songs like “Heartbeat” for Buddy Holly, and was his first musical partner. Montgomery has written songs for Juice Newton,Martina McBride, Beth Neilsen Chapman, and Graham Gouldman of 10cc, and sung on Lee Ann Womack records.
