About this Event
Join us for a relaxed, free photowalk to Kersal Wetlands, open to everyone.
We'll meet at Salford Innovation Forum at 1pm, before heading out together on foot to Kersal Wetlands, where we'll spend some time exploring, taking photos, chatting and enjoying a creative afternoon outdoors. Whether you're an experienced photographer or picking up a camera for the first time, you're welcome to join us.
You're invited to submit your favourite images after the walk to a collaborative community art project, co-created by the SAZ Media Committee. The final piece will be a collage made from photographs taken across Salford, forming the shape of the city itself and celebrating the people and places that make the city what it is.
No photography experience is needed. If you don't have a camera, don't worry, we'll have some you can borrow for free. You're also welcome to bring your own camera or use your phone.
