About this Event
Kensington Comedy Night is San Diego’s hottest free stand-up show, happening every Saturday at 7:30PM at Mission Brewing Kensington. 🎤🍻 Each week features a brand-new lineup of top comics bringing the laughs, while you kick back with craft beer, hard seltzers, or wine. There’s never a cover charge—just a packed room, great drinks, and nonstop comedy energy that makes Saturday nights unforgettable.
At Slap Diego, we don’t just stack names on a flyer and hope it works. Every lineup is hand-picked to hit that perfect mix—rising local talent, nationally touring comics, and headliners who can blow the roof off. And the best part? We’re not a comedy club. That means no two-drink minimums, and no overpriced cocktails—just nonstop laughs every week!

KENSINGTON, MEET YOUR SATURDAY NIGHT MAIN EVENT.
This week, BOB HANSEN storms into Mission Brewing with a microphone, a cowboy hat, and the personality of a man who used to throw people around for a living.
A former San Diego Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion trained by WWE legend Afa “The Wild Samoan,” Bob brings that wrestling swagger straight to the stage. The attitude. The showmanship. The big kicks. This man knows how to work a crowd, and he’s coming to Kensington ready to make some noise.
He’s shared comedy stages with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, released his Dry Bar Comedy special Rock n Roll Daddy, and become a regular at The Comedy Store in La Jolla, including its Best of San Diego showcase. This Saturday, you get him up close at Mission Brewing.
