Join us for Michigan’s premier fall race experience.The KARMA jack Golden Grizzlies Festival of Races is more than a run. It’s a movement rooted in community, wellness, and Oakland University pride.
Choose your challenge:
Kids Race: Ages 10 & under, 1 lap around the track with Grizz the Mascot
5K Run/Walk: Scenic loop through OU’s campus and past iconic landmarks like Elliott Tower and Meadow Brook Hall
10K Run/Walk: A double-loop course with a finish inside the Elaine Leigh Track & Field Complex
Race Day Highlights:
Official race shirt and chip timing for all participants
Grizzly Row Vendor Village with food, giveaways, and sponsor activations
Free race photos and family-friendly activities
A community-driven atmosphere with music and photo ops
Meadow Brook Hall medals for finishers

Every registration supports Oakland University’s Cross Country and Track & Field student-athletes. You’re helping fund coaching, training, scholarships, and development resources.
Last year, over 1,300 runners joined us. This year, we’re aiming for 2,000+ participants. Let’s build something lasting together.
Schedule:
7:30 AM: Packet Pickup Opens
9:00 AM: Kids Race Start
9:30 AM: 5K & 10K Start
Post-race festivities continue until Noon
