Join us at The Lolek Center for an intimate evening of original music and honest storytelling with South Dakota singer-songwriter Kara Hanan.Kara is an acoustic artist from Lake Andes who writes her own songs. Her music is rooted in faith and everyday life—warm, heartfelt, and meant to be shared in a room together. You’ll hear original songs from her growing catalog on Spotify and YouTube, plus the stories behind them: how they were written, what they mean, and the places they’ve come from.
This is a free-will offering event for all ages. Come as you are. Stay for the music, the stories, and a simple evening of connection.

Cost: Free will offering collected during the evening. No tickets required. Funds received will be used to offer a stipend to Kara for sharing her gifts with us!
About Kara: Kara Hanan is a South Dakota acoustic artist and songwriter known for music that brings warmth, faith, and connection into the room. She writes and records her own songs—many now available on Spotify and YouTube—and also performs for weddings, churches, community gatherings, and local venues across the Midwest.
She was recently part of the You, God’s Music Showcase, submitting original work including He Fights For Me and a performance of My Jesus. Her songs often grow out of Scripture and lived experience: weakness and God’s strength, not holding back what He’s done, finding rest, and keeping eyes on Him.
