Learn more at http://www.pwcsc.org.
  • Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust was founded in 2002 to address Los Angeles's park inequities. They focus their efforts exclusively in communities of color that have little to no access to green space. Their successful community development model engage residents from the beginning of the design process, through construction and ultimately the stweardship of the parks and gardens they create. To ensure the long-term impact of their efforts, they are working towards equitable green space development through grassroots policy reform.
  • Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District has made a remarkable impact by awarding over $1.7 billion in grants. These funds have empowered cities, county departments, state and local agencies, and community organizations to revitalize our parks, elevate recreational facilities, and enhance trails and open spaces.
