Your Saturday workout just found its purpose.Kaizen for K9s is back! Grab a partner and join Spike’s K9 Fund at Kaizen Athletics on Saturday, December 5, to sweat for the paws and raise money for our working K9s.
Whether you’re a regular at the gym or trying something new, you’re welcome here. Our 25-minute partner workout can be scaled for all fitness levels, so come ready to move, encourage each other, and support the cause.
The morning will also feature a K9 demonstration, a local food truck, delicious treats from Neptune Dog Bakery, and Spike’s swag!
Event Details
THE SCHEDULE
7:30 AM: The National Anthem kicks off the event.
8 AM: Partner workouts begin, with new groups starting every 30 minutes.
THE WORKOUT
You and your partner will take on a 25 minute AMRAP, completing as many rounds as possible of the following:
• Row, bike, ski, or AirRunner for a set distance, explained during the athlete briefing.
• 200 meter kettlebell or dumbbell farmer’s carry, switching partners at 100 meters.
• 20 wall ball shots, switching partners after 10.
• 20 kettlebell swings, switching partners after 10.
• 20 hand release push ups, switching partners after 10.
All movements can be scaled for your fitness level.
MAKE YOUR IMPACT GO FURTHER
After registering, you’ll have the option to fundraise for Spike’s K9 Fund. Invite friends and family to support your effort and help raise money for our working K9s.
