Artist Bio

Born in 2001 in Poznań, Poland, Kacper Dworniczak is a guitarist who proves that music is not just about notes, but about stories, emotions, and human connection. He picked up the guitar at the age of six – and never let go. From the very beginning, the instrument became a way for him to express what words could not capture, and that sense of intimacy and storytelling continues to define his artistry today.

His playing combines breathtaking precision with disarming sensitivity. Each phrase carries both discipline and vulnerability, creating performances that audiences describe as both technically dazzling and deeply human. This rare balance has takenhim across the globe: from Carnegie Hall in New York, to Tokyo and Miami, to the most prestigious stages across Europe and his native Poland. Along the way, he has collected more than forty prizes at international competitions – though for Kacper, the true reward has never been in the trophies, but in the stillness of a hall when the music truly moves its listeners.

Fearless in crossing boundaries, Kacper’s career embraces both tradition and exploration. In 2017 he made his orchestral debut at the Polish-Russian Music Festival in Moscow, and the following year was nominated as Poland’s Young Musician of the Year, reaching the grand finale performing Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez with the Polish Radio Orchestra. Soon after came his debut at Carnegie Hall, followed by a series of successes at international competitions – 3rd Prize in Miami (2022), 2nd Prize in Tokyo (2023) – and invitations to leading festivals in Croatia, Italy, and Poland.

Beyond the classical stage, Kacper has shown a unique ability to connect with broader audiences. In 2023, he recorded an album with the beloved Polish singer Andrzej Piaseczny, bringing the guitar into a new light for thousands of listeners, and joined him on a nationwide concert tour. In 2024, he was invited as one of only four artists to take part in the Ex-Aequo Initiative, which led to international recordings and a special performance in Austin, Texas. And in 2025, his artistry reached millions of television viewers when he advanced to the semifinals of Got
Talent and earned the Golden Buzzer – a moment that celebrated not only his virtuosity, but also his ability to tell stories that resonate far beyond the classical world.

That same year, Kacper released his debut solo album, JOURNEYS. More than a debut, it is a musical and personal story – one that reflects his travels, his encounters, and the questions that drive him as both a musician and a person. The album has already drawn enthusiastic acclaim from critics and the mainstream press, and marks the beginning of a recording career that promises to be as bold and heartfelt as his live performances.

A graduate of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, where he studied with Łukasz Kuropaczewski and Paolo Pegoraro, Kacper completed his bachelor’s degree with distinction in 2025. He has been supported by scholarships from the Polish Minister of Culture’s Young Poland program, the Julian Cochran Foundation, and the Polish Children’s Fund, among others – recognition not only of his talent, but of his commitment to shaping the guitar’s future.

At just twenty-four, Kacper Dworniczak already brings over a decade of stage experience to his performances. Yet what defines him is not only his achievements, but his approach: the curiosity of that six-year-old boy who once picked up a guitar, and the conviction that every concert is, above all, an invitation to share a story.
