Rocket Brooks
A violinist that breaks boundaries, Rocket Brooks is fast establishing herself as a versatile musician working across a multitude of musical genres. She has recorded for the prominent British electronic group “Underworld’ on their recent “Black Poppies’ track, and worked with the rising star Hetta Falzon as an arranger and recording artist. Orchestral practice is at the forefront of her career, and she has worked extensively with the Dartington Festival Orchestra and Bauge Opera Festival Pit Orchestra, along with her appointment of principle of the Royal Academy of Music’s production of ‘Hansel and Gretel’. Having co-founded the Brooks Duo and Euterpe Trio, Rocket regularly showcases her passion for collaboration by performing in concert series’ such as the Budleigh Music Festival, St Cyprians Music Series and Pimlico Lunchtime Concert series.
With giving back to the community at the centre of her ethos, she has performed with the NDP Circus Ensemble in a community event following the COVID pandemic, and has worked with the AgeUK, Westminster Charity. Her work as an educator for the non-profit music organisation ‘Young Music Makers’, and role as an assistant in the ‘Widening Participation’ department at the Royal Academy of Music, allows her to connect with, and inspire, the next generation of musicians. Rocket has been educated at the finest institutions in the world, and currently learns with the world-renowned soloist Jack Liebeck on a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music.
