Join us for a talk with Jack Rasmussen, director and curator of the American University, with a spotlight on political art.About this Event
Jack Rasmussen has spent the past 22 years infusing political art into Washington's cultural consciousness. Rasmussen will step down this year after a long-held director / curatorship of the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center. We're delighted to sit down with one of the DC art community's finest to talk art and politics. "We have a continuing diet of socially and politically engaged art that can't be shown anyplace else," says Rasmussen of his AU Museum.
