A New Dialogue Between Baroque and JazzCelebrate the closing concert of K-Music Festival 2026 with Jisu Jung & Baroque in Blue, an acclaimed project that brings together the elegance of Baroque music and the spontaneity of jazz.
Drawing on her background in both classical music and jazz, Korean pianist and composer Jisu Jung reimagines the music of the Baroque era through a contemporary jazz lens. Joined by an ensemble of musicians from both classical and jazz traditions, Baroque in Blue explores the meeting point between composition and improvisation, structure and spontaneity, creating a fresh and compelling musical experience.
Following the release of their acclaimed debut album, the ensemble has received widespread recognition for its originality and artistic vision, offering audiences a new perspective on two rich musical traditions.
"The most unexpected and freshest chamber music I've heard in years. Jisu Jung is a truly unique musician."
— Vadim Neselovskyi, Berklee College of Music
