LAIKS TIKS PRECIZĒTS!LOV aicina atzīmēt kalendārā, ka šī gada 1. novembrī pēc dievkalpojuma (laiku precizēsim) aicinām uz filmas “Jātnieka balss” skatīšanos un tikšanos ar pašu filmas varoni Rihardu Snikus, viņa māsu un palīdzi Elīnu Brigmani, kā arī ar filmas veidotāju Ivetu Auziņu.
Dokumentālā filma “Jātnieka balss” ir aizkustinošs biogrāfisks stāsts par divkārtējo paralimpisko čempionu Rihardu Snikus. Filma iezīmē viņa ceļu uz Parīzes Paralimpiskajām spēlēm 2024. gadā un izgaismo nozīmīgus pagrieziena punktus sportista dzīvē. Rihards sadzīvo ar cerebrālās triekas sekām, tāpēc ar apkārtējiem komunicē citādi – uz jautājumiem atbild ar īsām frāzēm vai rakstot garākus tekstus telefonā. Stāsts ļauj iejusties galvenā varoņa pasaulē, atklājot, ko viņš domā un jūt. Darbs apvieno vērojošā kino elementus ar Riharda filmētajiem video un personīgās dienasgrāmatas fragmentiem, sniedzot skatītājam iespēju ne tikai ieraudzīt, bet arī “sadzirdēt” jātnieka balsi – viņa spēku un neatlaidību. “Jātnieka balss” parāda gan ikdienu treniņos un sacensībās, gan Riharda dzīvi ārpus jāšanas sporta –
pasākumos pie DJ pults un saimniekojot mājās.

Documentary “Voice of a Horseback Rider”
The documentary “Voice of a Horseback Rider” is a touching biographical story about Rihards Snikus, who won two gold medals at the Paralympic Games in Paris. The film discusses his route to the games in 2024 and sheds light on important turning points in the athlete’s life. Rihards lives with the consequences of cerebral palsy, and so he communicates in a different way with those who are with him. He answers questions with short phrases and writes longer texts on his telephone. The story allows the audience to feel the world of the main character, revealing what he thinks and feels. The film merges observant cinema elements with video which Rihards himself filmed. There are fragments from his personal diary, allowing the audience to see and also “hear” the rider’s voice so as to understand his
strength and his relentlessness. “Voice of a Horseback Rider” shows everyday training, competitions, and Rihards’ life outside of the sport of dressage. He works as a DJ at various events and works at home.
