The holiday season is often called "the most wonderful time of the year," but when you are carrying the weight of grief and loss, it can feel like the most difficult time of the year. If you are navigating the approaching holidays with a heavy heart, please know that you are not alone.
Healing Has Options invites you to a special, in person gathering designed to hold space for your journey around grief and loss titled: Just Before the Holidays.
This is not an event meant to fix your pain, tell you “it’s gonna be ok” or force cheerfulness. Instead, it is a safe, compassionate sanctuary where we use entertainment, conversation, and reality. To honor our grief, acknowledge our losses, remind one another that healing is a journey and most importantly that Healing Has Options.

- Moving Performances: Experience uplifting and soulful creative expressions from amazing local artists who understand the language of the heart.
- Guidance: The evening will be facilitated by renowned Death Doula Dee Dee Watters, who brings warmth, truth, and deep expertise to navigating death and grief journeys.
- Real Conversations: Engage in honest dialogue about the realities of facing traditions, empty chairs, and complex emotions during the festive season.
- Community Connection: Sit in a room filled with people who "get it," offering a sense of belonging and shared understanding when you need it most.

- Tickets Are On A Sliding Scale: Healing Has Options believes financial constraints should never stand in the way of healing. The standard ticket price would be $20 but if that price is a barrier for you, please give whatever you can.
- Donations: Support the cause or purchase a ticket for someone that just can’t afford it at the time.
- Parking: Accessible and hassle-free parking is available on-site at the venue.
