It has become a good JuShinKan tradition to organize a club trip to Bergen for the annual Autumn Seminar with Bjørn Eirik Olsen Shihan, 7. dan Aikikai - especially when we have several people grading to higher kyu and black belt!!Here's the FB-event for the Bergen event - do help them to plan and be visible by klicking "attend": https://www.facebook.com/events/29451155854473011
here is the info-page on BAK-website:
https://bergenaikido.no/2026/09/14/hostleir-i-november/
This year also, we're taking a team of Youth with us to give them a taste of travel-aikido, join in the fun!
Haugesund and Kristiansand people - you can come along for the ride, but tell us ahead of time so we can allocate car space!
*Departure* Friday, Nov 6 (to be confirmed, but this is the plan)
depending on who is going and how
- two/three cars at 12.00 noon SHARP from dojo
(maybe we'll take the youth a bit earlier to enjoy Bergen a bit)
- one car leaving after work Friday (you'll miss the friday class/grading)
Return: Sunday afternoon, Nov. 2, back in SVG around 20/21.
As one of this year's "JuShinKan Goes To events", the club will cover the seminar fee, the transportation by car/parking (NB: but accomodation and grading fees are your own).
The youth will stay in the dojo for free (you can too, bring sleeping pad and sleeping bag).
If you chose to fly or drive by yourself, you'll have to cover that yourself, the point is to do a club-trip!
Accomodation:
Depending on how many sign up - we'll try to rent an airBnB or get a deal with a hotel.
Please *sign up here and on the list in the kitchen* in the dojo. The earlier you sign up, the better deals we'll find! and to make it easier to plan the cars and the accomodation. We also have to let them know how many will join for dinner Sat.evening
For more info about travel and accomodation, contact Jac or look at the seminar's event
