On his new trio project, Bench2Throne, he’s showcased on both, with bandmates Brandon Rose on bass and Andrew Renfroe on guitar alongside him throughout. As he crosses from the piano bench to the drum throne, the music changes with him. NPR calls him “a torchbearer among young players bringing history into the future.”
UpStage is an intimate, cabaret-style setting on the Phillips Center Mainstage. The 7:00 p.m. seating includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and cash bar; the 9:00 p.m. seating includes desserts and cash bar.
