Written in the seventh decade of her life, JudyAnn Krell Morse shares moments when she caught a glimpse of God's love in the most unexpected situations.
In Unexpected Signs of God's Love, she offers a collection of personal narratives that show how God is always present in both challenging and joyful moments. Morse shares these stories of God at work in her life as she takes detours, buys ice cream sundaes, has her motorcycle front tire go flat while riding, or blows bubbles with a colorful wand.
Morse offers her testimony through her devotionals, prompting others to keep the eyes of their souls open to catch an unexpected glimpse of God's love in their daily lives.
About the author
I am a retired pastor with a deep love for life. Growing up as a “preacher’s kid” in a Baptist parsonage presented its unique challenges as we moved from one town to another. But I quickly learned that God's love was a constant, no matter where I lived.
It took fifty years of perseverance to achieve my goal of writing a book of devotionals. In 2020, I published my first book, Simple Signs of God’s Love. Retiring from the pulpit, I was thrilled to see how God used the words I had penned to touch the lives of others. This experience, rather than inflating my ego, humbled me and reinforced the importance of honesty and sincerity in every word I write.
In the 8th decade of my life, I published my second book, Experiencing God’s Love Every Day. This book shares more personal stories that illustrate the presence of God's love in everyday life. I am praying that it, too, will be used by God to make a positive difference in the negative world in which we live. To God be the glory!
